Δημῶναξ, μὴ πάντα κάτω βλέπε, μηδὲ χαρίζου
τῇ γλώσσῃ: δεινὴν χοῖρος ἄκανθαν ἔχει.
καὶ σὺ ζῇς † ἡμῖν, ἐν Φοινίκῃ δὲ καθεύδεις,
κοὐκ ὢν ἐκ Σεμέλης μηροτραφὴς γέγονας.
