ὁ τὸν πολυστένακτον ἀνθρώπων βίον
γέλωτι κεράσας Νικαεὺς Φιλιστίων
ἐνταῦθα κεῖμαι, λείψανον παντὸς βίου,
πολλάκις ἀποθανών, ὧδε δ᾽ οὐδεπώποτε.
