τὰν ἔλαφον Κλεόλαος ὑπὸ κναμοῖσι λοχήσας,
ἔκτανε Μαιάνδρου πὰρ τριέλικτον ὕδωρ,
θηκτῷ σαυρωτῆρι: τὰ δ᾽ ὀκτάρριζα μετώπων
φράγμαθ᾽ ὑπὲρ ταναὰν ἇλος ἔπαξε πίτυν.
