ὁ Ζεὺς Αἰθιόπων πάλι τέρπεται εἰλαπίναισιν,
ἢ χρυσὸς Δανάης εἵρπυσεν εἰς θαλάμους:
θαῦμα γὰρ εἰ Περίανδρον ἰδὼν οὐχ ἥρπασε γαίης
τὸν καλὸν ἢ φιλόπαις οὐκέτι νῦν ὁ θεός.
