σῆς ἀρετῆς ἱδρῶτι καλὴν ἀπέδωκεν ἀμοιβὴν
σὸς γενέτης, Ἥρακλες, ἐπεὶ πόνος ἄσπετον εὖχος
ἀνδράσιν οἶδεν ἄγειν μετ᾽ ἀπείρονα κύκλον ἀέθλων.
