κτείνετε, ληίζεσθε, κακοὶ κακοκερδέες ἄνδρες:
οὔτις ἐπισχήσει τὴν φιλοχρημοσύνην.
εἰ τάδ᾽ ἔτλης, κακοεργέ, κακόφρονος εἵνεκα χρυσοῦ,
πᾶσι τεὴν ἐπέχειν ἁρπαλέην παλάμην.

hadst the courage to do this for the sake of evil
