ἄλλος ἀπὸ σταλίκων, ὁ δ᾽ ἀπ᾽ ἠέρος, ὃς δ᾽ ἀπὸ πόντου,
Εὔπολι, σοὶ πέμπει δῶρα γενεθλίδια:
ἀλλ᾽ ἐμέθεν δέξαι Μουσῶν στίχον, ὅστις ἐς αἰεὶ
μίμνει, καὶ φιλίης σῆμα καὶ εὐμαθίης.
