Κώμαυλος τὸν ἐχῖνον ἰδὼν ἐπὶ νῶτα φέροντα
ῥᾶγας, ἀπέκτεινεν τῷδ᾽ ἐπὶ θειλοπέδῳ:
αὐήνας δ᾽ ἀνέθηκε φιλακρήτῳ Διονύσῳ
τὸν τὰ Διωνύσου δῶρα λεϊζόμενον,
