αἵδ᾽ ἀπὸ Λευκανῶν θυρεάσπιδες, οἱ δὲ χαλινοὶ
στοιχηδόν, ξεσταὶ τ᾽ ἀμφίβολοι κάμακες
δέδμηνται, ποθέουσαι ὁμῶς ἵππους τε καὶ ἄνδρας,
Παλλάδι: τοὺς δ᾽ ὁ μέλας ἀμφέχανεν θάνατος.
