πρὸς τὸν παιδοτρίβην Δημήτριον ἐχθὲς ἐδείπνουν,
πάντων ἀνθρώπων τὸν μακαριστότατον.
εἷς αὐτοῦ κατέκειθ᾽ ὑποκόλπιος, εἷς ὑπὲρ ὦμον,
εἷς ἔφερεν τὸ φαγεῖν, εἷς δὲ πιεῖν ἐδίδου:

ἡ τετρὰς ἡ περίβλεπτος. ἐγὼ παίζων δὲ πρὸς αὐτὸν
φημί σὺ καὶ νύκτωρ, φίλτατε, παιδοτριβεῖς;
