ἐξέφυγον, Θεόδωρε, τὸ σὸν βάρος. ἀλλ᾽ ὅσον εἴπας

ἐξέφυγον τὸν ἐμὸν δαίμονα πικρότατον,
πικρότερός με κατέσχεν. Ἀριστοκράτει δὲ λατρεύων
μυρία, δεσπόσυνον καὶ τρίτον ἐκδέχομαι.
