τῆς Ἀσίης τὰ λάφυρα λαβὼν ἔπλευσε Καρῖνος
ἤματι χειμερίῳ, δυομένων ἐρίφων:
εἶδε καὶ Ἀδράδστεια τὸ φορτίον ὃς δ᾽ ἐφορώσης
ᾤχετο, καὶ πελάγους δαίμοσιν ἐγγελάσας.

on a winter’s day at the setting of the Kids. Nemesis,
too, saw the cargo, but he departed in her sight and
laughing at the gods of the sea.
