γραμματικῶν περίεργα γένη, ῥιζωρύχα μούσης
ἀλλοτρίης, ἀτυχεῖς σῆτες ἀκανθοβάται,

τῶν μεγάλων κηλῖδες, ἐπ᾽ Ἠρίννῃ δὲ κομῶντες,
πικροὶ καὶ ξηροὶ Καλλιμάχου πρόκυνες,

ποιητῶν λῶβαι, παισὶ σκότος ἀρχομένοισιν,
ἔρροιτ᾽, εὐφώνων λαθροδάκναι κόριες.
