πέντ᾽ ἰητρὸς Ἄλεξις ἅμ᾽ ἔκλυσε, πέντ᾽ ἐκάθηρε,
πέντ᾽ ἴδεν ἀρρώστους, πέντ᾽ ἐνέχρισε πάλιν
καὶ πᾶσιν μία νύξ, ἓν φάρμακον, εἷς σοροπηγός,
εἷς τάφος, εἷς Ἀίδης, εἷς κοπετὸς γέγονεν.
