τήκει καὶ πέτρην ὁ πολὺς χρόνος ἀλλ᾽ ἀρετάων
Ἀσκληπιοδότου τὸ κλέος ἀθάνατον,
ὅσσα καὶ οἷα πόρεν γέρα πατρίδι: τοῖς ἐπὶ πᾶσι
καὶ τόδε μετρείσθω κοῖλον ἔρεισμα θόλου.

Long time wears out even stone, but immortal is
the renown of the good deeds of Asclepiodotus in
giving so many and such splendid gifts to his native
place. Now in addition to them all should be reckoned
this hollow structure with its dome.
