εἴτε σε κουριδίης ἀλόχου γλυκὺς ἵμερος ἴσχει,
λούεο, φαιδρότερος τῇδε φανησόμενος:

εἴτε σε μισθοφόρους ἐπὶ μαχλάδας οἶστρος ὀρίνει,
λήψῃ, κοὐ δώσεις, ἐνθάδε λουσάμενος.

If sweet desire for thy wedded wife possess thee,
bathe here, and thou shalt appear to her brighter.
Or if lust drive thee to mercenary and depraved
women, bathe here, and thou shalt be paid instead
of paying.
