τίς λίθος οὐκ ἐδάκρυσε, σέθεν φθιμένοιο, Κάσανδρε;
τίς πέτρος, ὃς τῆς σῆς λήσεται ἀγλαΐης;
ἀλλά σε νηλειὴς καὶ βάσκανος ὤλεσε δαίμων
ἡλικίην ὀλίγην εἴκοσιν ἓξ ἐτέων,
ὃς χήρην ἄλοχον θῆκεν, μογερούς τε τοκῆας
γηραλέους, στυγερῷ πένθεϊ τειρομένους.
