α. ὄλβια τέκνα γένοισθε: τίνος γένος ἐστέ; τί δ᾽ ὑμῖν
ὧδε καλοῖς χαρίεν κείμενὸν ἐστ᾽ ὄνομα;

β. Νικάνωρ ἐγώ εἰμι, πατὴρ δέ μοι Αἰπιόρητος,
μήτηρ δ᾽ Ἡγησώ, κεἰμὶ γένος Μακεδών.

γ. καὶ μὲν ἐγὼ Φίλα εἰμί, καὶ ἐστί μοι οὗτος ἀδελφός
ἐκ δ᾽ εὐχῆς τοκέων ἕσταμες ἀμφότεροι.
