Θεσπιαὶ εὐρύχοροι πέμψαν ποτὲ τούσδε σὺν ὅπλοις
τιμωροὺς προγόνων βάρβαρον εἰς Ἀσίην,
οἳ μετ᾽ Ἀλεξάνδρου Περσῶν ἄστη καθελόντες
στῆσαν Ἐριβρεμέτῃ δαιδάλεον τρίποδα.
