ἐκ πυρὸς ὁ ῥαιστήρ, καὶ ὁ καρκίνος, ἥ τε πυράγρη
ἄγκεινθ᾽ Ἡφαίστῳ, δῶρα Πολυκράτεος,
ᾧ πυκνὸν κροτέων ὑπὲρ ἄκμονος εὕρετο παισὶν
ὄλβον, ὀϊζυρὴν ὠσάμενος πενίην.
