μῦν Ἀσκληπιάδης ὁ φιλάργυρος εἶδεν ἐν οἴκῳ,
καὶ "Tί ποιεῖς, φησίν, φίλτατε μῦ, παρ᾽ ἐμοὶ ;"
ἡδὺ δ᾽ ὁ μῦς γελάσας, "Mηδέν, φίλε, φησί, φοβηθῇς,
οὐχὶ τροφῆς παρὰ σοὶ χρῄζομεν, ἀλλὰ μονῆς."

Asclepiades the miser saw a mouse in his house
