ἣν τὸ πάρος φιλέεσκεν Ἄρης, σκοπίαζε.Κυθείρην
ἐνθάδε λουομένην νάμασι φαιδροτάτοις:
δέρκεο νηχομένην μὴ δείδιθι: οὐ γὰρ Ἀθήνην
παρθένον εἰσοράᾳς, οἷά τε Τειρεσίας.

and fear not. It is not maiden Athena that you see,
as Tiresias did.
