Φοῖβος ἔφυσε βροτοῖς Ἀσκληπιὸν ἠδὲ Πλάτωνα,
τὸν μὲν ἵνα ψυχήν, τὸν δ᾽ ἵνα σῶμα σάοι
δαισάμενος δὲ γάμον, πόλιν ἤλυθεν ἥν ποθ᾽ ἑαυτῷ
ἔκτισε, καὶ δαπέδῳ Ζηνὸς ἐνιδρύσατο.

Febo, Asclepio e Platone creando, affidò la salvezza del corpo all'uno, all'altro dello spirito. Giunse Platone da un pranzo di nozze allo Stato ideale e nel regno di Zeus prese dimora.
